The Duncraig Educational Trust was created by Dame Margaret Elizabeth Brown or Hamilton of Balmacara in 1946.
This trust provides a number of scholarships and grants to support children and young people of the Highlands or of Highland descent.
It is part of The Highland Council Charitable Trusts, which is looked after by Highland Council elected members.
To be eligible to apply for funding from the Duncraig Educational Trust, you must
- be resident in the Highlands, or
- be of Highland descent, or
- have parents from the Highlands, or
- have grandparents from the Highlands
Funding streams are available for individuals and community groups.
