
Ross & Cromarty Educational Trust was established in 1933. It covers the former county of Ross & Cromarty which stretches from Easter Ross to the Western Isles.
There are a number of endowments from generous benefactors over the years to support individual young people, schools and community groups.
It is part of The Highland Council Charitable Trusts, which is looked after by Highland Council elected members.
The Ross and Cromarty Educational Trust Scheme covers the areas of the Black Isle, Easter Ross, Dingwall (and Seaforth), Wester Ross, Strathpeffer and Lochalsh.
To be eligible to apply for funding from the Ross and Cromarty Educational Trust, you must be
- from, or reside in, the above areas, or
- a school or community group
